How to find a job in Dublin.

Finding a job is not easy, unless you come here with one from your country.

I recommend you look for first in your country to see how is the job market. You have some web pages where you can look for:

You can look for in the oficial web page of the Intreo.Intreo

Here you have the option of Jobseekers, you can find job offers or find some courses. You can go to a office and ask fro information or search in the web page. You need to ask abut the courses because some times is only for people receiving benefits.

If you lose your job and you try to find one but there is no way, you can ask in the Intreo’s office for the Jobseekers’ benefit. Look the Intreo’s office near you in the web page.

You can go for example to Parnell St. Intreo’s office and then they give you some papers for this aid. They also give you an appointment in the same place that you do your PPS number, but in the first floor. You have to give the papers they give you, don’t forget to bring all the required papers with you!

Bank account movements, PPS number, if you have spouse or cohabitan his/her PPS number (a photo is ok, you only need the number) and his/her bank account movements. You can bring also the rent agreement and a bill as a proof that you live in Dublin. Don’t forget neither, all the papers the company gave you when you finished your job.

I hope this will be useful for you. Good luck!
